This competition is the transformation and upgrading of the TEDA Cup International Youth Design Competition held in 2015. This year, the competition was renamed as Rising Award International Youth Design Competition. Through inviting the participation of young deign talents worldwide, the competition aims at gathering cultural and creative talents, building up platforms for exchanges among enterprises, universities cultural and creative organizations, enhancing the local design capacity, improving Tianjin’s reputation in the international arena, and preparing for the transformation and upgrading of Tianjin.

1. Visit TEDA’s creativity official website: tedacreativity.com to enter the official website of 2022 Rising Award, to register on line.
2.After registration, click enrollment on the home page, enter account management, complete individual or team materials.
3. Upload own works one by one as per requirements.
4. Participants may conduct operations like changing individual or team information, uploading works, modifying, etc., at will before deadline for enrollment.

Please note:
1.Please enter frequently-used email address in enrollment to guarantee competitors’ right and interest. Executing unit will send important information to this email address, including notice of finalist and award winning information.
2. Please fill out appropriately name of work and name of participant since no change shall be made to them after deadline of enrollment.

The designs that start from creativity, strive to breakthrough, match with the theme and can express theme concept and aesthetics. Executing unit will invite experts from various fields at home and abroad to constitute the assessment team for assessment.

Gold Prize (1 winner for each category): RMB 15,000 and a certifcate
Silver Prize (2 winners for each category): RMB 8,000 and a certifcate
Bronze Prize (3 winners for each category): RMB 5,000 and a certifcate
Finalist Prize (10 winners for each category): A certifcate

All finalist works of Rising Award Youths Design Competition. Countrywide can participate in public exhibition and enterprise exhibition activities held by TEDA Organization Committee after the competition.

• No works will be returned.
• Participant can participate in the completion individually or joining a team, and there is no limit to the numbers of enrollment works.
• The same work shall not be submitted to different categories repeatedly.
• The works shall be created by the participant himself with originality.
• There is no counterfeit of , copying of or other infringement to other’s intellectual property and copyright for all the contents including concept, word, graphics, table, photo, film, voice, music, animation, etc., and the program used.

• Agree to accept and abide by the activity’s announcements and specifications. In case there is any behavior violating the activity’s announcements and specifications which has been verified to be true, the activity’s organization party will cancel his qualification for enrollment or award winning, and reserves the relative rights for any behavior that damages the activity.
• Respect the resolution of the assessment team.
• When enrolling for the competition, any work shall be specified in Enrollment Declaration Letter if it has been published, granted with award in other competition or in assessment for award, and Ministry of Education and this competition’s executing unit shall be notified, as reference basis for granting bonus.
• There should be no request, putting in good word, luring, threatening or others that might intervene the assessment committee and assessment procedure.
• Participants shall cooperate to provide detailed information for creativity as for later public report and exhibition.

• Provide detailed data of the winning work as for public report and exhibition.
• Winner shall cooperate with TEDA for relative exhibition and advocacy activities for his works with award and reserve the original documents and data for future reference within three years since awards winning announcement.。
• Tax shall be contributed for the bonus as specified.
• For the works with awards, winner shall agree to authorize the competition’s executing unit free of charge and nonexclusively to use relative data like graphics and words, etc., of the works for preparing audio and visual works (films) and digital archives, provide for the purpose of education, research and public service, and release publicly, play publicly and for read on line. In case for need of education research, organizer will copy the works. The authorization does not influence the author’s copyright and derived copyright other exclusive authorization of the original author.
• The works with awards and follow-on commercialized and marketing behavior shall not damage the award’s image or spirit.

• In case participant and his work for the competition have any of the following circumstances, which is verified to be true, the qualification for award winning will be cancelled, and trophy, award certificate and bonus that have been granted will be recovered.
• Disqualified for enrollment qualification.
• The works winning awards involve copying or violating copyright and other relative laws and decrees upon accusation, which is judged to be true by court.
• The works winning awards are accused or prosecuted to be not created by himself or to be falsely used with other’s works, which has specific factual evidence, award winning qualification will be cancelled by judgment upon investigation and examination.
• Works with award and follow-on commercialized and marketing behavior damages the award’s image or spirit.
• Winner has request, putting in good word, luring, threatening or others that intervenes assessment committee and assessment procedure, which is considered to be serious upon examination by preliminary assessment team.
• Sponsor unit reserves the right of change to the activity. Any matter uncovered here shall be subject to the specification of the organization committee and the announcement on the official website. Relative dispute shall be determined by sponsor unit after examination by the activity assessment team.
